Steam Railways
There are a couple of steam railway lines in Norfolk - great for a day out with the kids (or not so little kids themselves)!

The Poppy Line runs from Holt to Sheringham, and the narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham.
Walking
Pack your walking boots and revel in the scenic countryside for a few hours. There are lots of footpaths and also trails such as the Weavers' Way, Marriott's Way and Norfolk Coast path.
